How Parkgene Works The driver searches for a parking lot meets virtually with the parking owner through the PARKGENE application. The following diagram shows the different stages of the completed parking session on the PARKGENE platform and above the Blockain Ethereal with smart contract.
As soon as the driver booked the parking lot, the reservation triggered a smart PARKGENE contract on the Ethereum Public Blockchain.
The PARKGENE application transfers the full amount of parking fees in GENE from the driver's wallet, to the storage (temporary wallet). If there is not enough GENE balance in the driver's wallet, the driver can use his or her credit card or other means of payment (Bitcoins, Ethereum) to buy GENEs in real-time and pay for the transaction.
Reservation and payment succeeded in providing additional App functionality to the driver and parking owner required to complete the actual parking session. For example, the driver will have the ability to open the garage door from his cell phone, while the owner of the parking is notified and monitored - in live video - the entrance and exit of the vehicle. This functionality is optional - albeit very helpful - and achieved through the integration of the PARKGENE platform with existing remote access tools available in the market, or the specific device PARKGENE will offer to the owner of the Parking Lot at very low cost.
